James Ensor is obviously The Entry of Christ into Brussels in 1889 and The Baths at Ostend. But equally The Oyster Eater and The Stingray. Like every Oriental, James Ensor had a healthy appetite and was fond of everything from the North Sea. That aspect of the master is also highlighted during the Ensor year by a bunch of Ostend restaurants whose chefs are inspired by Ensor's paintings.
